Our Commitment

Level Zero LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards across levelzerobuild.com.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

This standard is referenced by accessibility regulations in the United States (ADA, Section 508), the European Union (EN 301 549), the United Kingdom (Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations), Canada (AODA), and Australia (DDA). Our aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA provides a reasonable basis for compliance across these jurisdictions.

Measures We Have Taken

Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy
ARIA labels and roles on navigation, main content, and interactive elements
Skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page
Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements
Sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background
Alt text provided for all informative images
Decorative elements marked as aria-hidden
Form fields associated with descriptive labels
Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
No content that flashes more than three times per second
Text resizable up to 200% without loss of content or functionality

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas that may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards and are actively working to address them:

Animated vehicle ticker strip - motion cannot be paused via keyboard. Users who prefer reduced motion may experience this as a distraction. We are implementing a prefers-reduced-motion CSS media query.
Some embedded emoji characters used as decorative icons may be read aloud by screen readers. We are transitioning these to CSS-only solutions.
